MCLEAN, Va., May 5, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — Capital One Financial Corporation (NYSE: COF) today announced a quarterly dividend of $0.60 per share payable May 27, 2022to shareholders registered in May 16, 2022. The company has announced dividends on its common stock every quarter since becoming an independent company on February 28, 1995. Dividends declared by the company are eligible for direct reinvestment in the company’s common stock under its dividend reinvestment and stock purchase plan. The Company also declared a quarterly dividend on the outstanding shares of its 5.00% Fixed Rate Non-Cumulative Perpetual Preferred Shares, Series I (the “Series I Preferred Shares”). Each outstanding Series I Preferred Share is represented by Depositary Shares, each representing a 1/40th interest in a Series I Preferred Share. $12.50 per share (equivalent to $0.3125 per outstanding depositary share) will be paid on June 1, 2022to shareholders of record at the close of business on May 17, 2022.

The Company also declared a quarterly dividend on the outstanding shares of its 4.80% Fixed Rate Non-Cumulative Perpetual Preferred Shares, Series J (the “Series J Preferred Shares”). Each outstanding Series J Preferred Share is represented by Depository Shares, each representing a 1/40th interest in a Series J Preferred Share. $12.00 per share (equivalent to $0.30 per outstanding depositary share) will be paid on June 1, 2022to shareholders of record at the close of business on May 17, 2022.

The Company also declared a quarterly dividend on the outstanding shares of its 4.625% Fixed Rate Non-Cumulative Perpetual Preferred Shares, Series K (the “Series K Preferred Shares”). Each outstanding Series K Preferred Share is represented by Depositary Shares, each representing a 1/40th interest in a Series K Preferred Share. $11.5625 per share (equivalent to $0.2890625 per outstanding depositary share) will be paid on June 1, 2022to shareholders of record at the close of business on May 17, 2022.

The Company also declared a quarterly dividend on the outstanding shares of its 4.375% Fixed Rate Non-Cumulative Perpetual Preferred Shares, Series L (the “Series L Preferred Shares”). Each outstanding Series L Preferred Share is represented by Depository Shares, each representing a 1/40th interest in a Series L Preferred Share. $10.9375 per share (equivalent to $0.2734375 per outstanding depositary share) will be paid on June 1, 2022to shareholders of record at the close of business on May 17, 2022.

The Company also declared a quarterly dividend on the outstanding shares of its Fixed Rate Non-Cumulative Perpetual Preferred Shares, Series M (the “Series M Preferred Shares”). The dividend of $9.875 per share will be paid on June 1, 2022to shareholders of record at the close of business on May 17, 2022.

The Company also declared a quarterly dividend on the outstanding shares of its 4.25% Fixed Rate Non-Cumulative Perpetual Preferred Shares, Series N (the “Series N Preferred Shares”). Each outstanding Series N Preferred Share is represented by Depositary Shares, each representing a 1/40th interest in a Series N Preferred Share. $10.625 per share (equivalent to $0.265625 per outstanding depositary share) will be paid on June 1, 2022to shareholders of record at the close of business on May 17, 2022.
